The Mass

The Mass – A new series by Bishop Robert Barron

Whether you attend Mass daily, weekly or a few times a year, this series is for you! Why should we want to attend Mass? What is the purpose of the Mass? Why the postures and gestures? How do the different parts of the Mass fit together?

Join us three Mondays in July and three Mondays in August as we explore the joy and beauty of The Mass through a brand new series by Bishop Robert Barron. This program will be offered on the following Mondays in Saint Kilian Church Hall from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm:

July 9th – A Privileged Encounter: The Closest Thing to Heaven on Earth
July 16th – Called Out of the World: The Introductory Rites
July 23rd – God Speaks Our Story: The Scripture Readings
August 13th – Responding to Our God: Homily, Creed and Prayer of the Faithful
August 20th – Preparing for Sacrifice: Offertory and Eucharistic Prayer
August 27th – The Real Presence Creates Communion: Transubstantiation and Transformation

We can relate to Jesus in many ways, but there is no more intense or privileged way than at the Mass. For more information or to sign up to attend this program, contact Deacon Ralph at [email protected] or 724-625-1665 x2103
