  • Hannah, 5-week old granddaughter of parishioners, as she began her first round of chemotherapy yesterday.

  • Please pray for Charles “Chuck” Seelbaugh who passed away yesterday.  Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him.  Please pray also for his wife Delores “Dee” and the rest of the family. There will be viewings at Schellhaas Funeral Home in Bakerstown, 5864 Heckert Road, on Friday, August 30 from 6:00pm – 8:00pm and on Saturday, August 31 from 9:00am – 11:00am. Funeral services will be at Holy Sepulcher at 12:00pm on Saturday. You can view his obituary HERE.
  • Ashley who is a young mom with cancer. She has had chemo and surgery and now has tumors in her lungs. God please help her to stay strong and go in to remission.

  • The husband of a parishioner’s friend. He has pancreatic cancer and is of advanced age.  The cancer has spread.  Prayers for peace and comfort for him and wife.  She is his primary caretaker at home and it is a very difficult situation.

  • Vicki DeThomas, a parishioner of Holy Sepulcher Parish, who died. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, August 19th, at 10 am at Holy Sepulcher Church. Arrangements are incomplete but are with the King Funeral Home. Please keep Vicki’s husband Art and their friends and family in your prayers during this time of their loss. May the Lord welcome Vicki to share in the glory of Eternal Life and may her family be comforted at this time of their loss.
  • Bob, the father of a parishioner who is awaiting test results and is very anxious. Prayers are requested for clear test results and for peace.
  • Sam, 30 year old nephew-in-law of a parishioner who is in dire need of a kidney transplant and just learned that he has been denied by the the transplant board due to a physch evaluation.  He is depressed and was told he must go through a minimum of six months of therapy and then can be re-evaluated for transplant.   He is terrified that he will die due to this delay. 
  • Tom, father of a parishioner who had a radioactive treatment for his bone cancer last month that was successful and helped significantly with his pain.  He receives another treatment on Monday, Aug. 19th.

  • Robert A Hudeck, Jr., who unexpectedly passed away at the age of 56 while on vacation at Ocean City.  Please pray for, his daughter Christine Duff and her family.  Bobby’s obituary can be found HERE. Fr. Bober will celebrate a memorial service at the Fox Funeral Home on Friday at 10:30 am.

  • Hannah, the granddaughter of parishioners, who was born July 25th but shortly after her birth the doctors quickly determined that she had a mass in her abdomen.  The mass was diagnosed as neuroblastoma, a rare cancer in infants (about 700 cases per year reported in kids 5 and under). Very few are diagnosed in infants. Hannah is in the NICU at Children’s National Hospital in Washington, DC. Please keep Hannah and her family in your prayers.
